本套教材共分6個級別，覆蓋了歐洲現代語言教學大綱中從A1到C1的語言能力要求， 是一套融綜合性、系統性、科學性於一體的國際化英語教材。
本套教材由著名青少年外語教學專家Herbert Puchta教授和Jeff Stranks教授聯合主編，由劍橋大學出版社首次出版，進入中國以來一直廣受各大公立學校和英語培訓學校的關注和認可。從2016年起，《劍橋英語青少 版(第一版)》由外語教學與研究出版社在中國市場出版發行。
