首先我以一鑫一藝策展人的身分，由衷感謝參與此次展覽的200位金工與首飾藝術家；經由他們的精彩作品，我們得以一窺臺灣當代金工與首飾藝術的多元樣貌；參展藝術家中有人已是國際知名的藝術家，也有人是年輕而勇於創新的新血，有人則是長期在大專院校培育人才的教授，也有人是建立自有品牌的創業者，而更多人則是胼手胝足努力經營工作室的專職創作者等，無論大家選擇的形態如何，共通之處是藉由創作傳達他們對藝術的熱愛與執著。
當代金工與首飾突破固有的傳統印象，著重在藝術性的表現與自我感知與概念思維的傳遞，不僅具備對材質與技法的掌控，更多經由材質技法實驗而創造出獨特的造形形態，就如同新素材與新科技來打造視覺經驗的突破，從而建構雕琢出專屬於個人特質的藝術語彙。
金工與首飾的造物成形，經由實踐操作的步驟，形成創作者能清晰轉譯內在想像的途徑，唯有精準的創造過程才能顯現抽象思緒靈動原貌。對於21 世紀的金工與首飾藝術家而言，專注於手作或與科技的融合創造是同等重要的。相較其他領域，幸運的是金工與首飾的傳統技法不因時代潮流而弱化消失，卻有著不斷革新研發的能量源源不斷加入，促使當代金工與首飾藝術面貌如此多元如此充滿魅力，自由呈現當代藝術家豐富內在情感、精神信念、自我性靈與哲學思維。
最後讓我再一次感謝所有參展藝術家，因為您們的慷慨參與與熱情支持，讓我們在如此精彩豐富、多元多彩的創作中，得以採擷當代台灣金工與首飾藝術的景況風貌，即使南轅北轍卻是自在悠遊於藝術天地，藉此舒展藝術的無限維度，讓我們一同探索臺灣當代金工與首飾藝術思潮與工藝美學。
