The name "GOJAH" originated from the Indonesian Javanese people who resided in the area and frequently encountered elephants. Pronouncing it as "O," they lovingly referred to these majestic creatures as "Gojah," symbolizing the timeless connection between humans and nature.

In the picturesque town of Teluk Intan, 129 years ago, an elephant's collision with a passing train unfolded a poignant tale of emotional depth. These magnificent creatures, capable of love and attachment, experienced heartache when a baby elephant had an accident. Overwhelmed by grief, Daddy Elephant couldn't let go of cherished memories and tragically collided with the same train. This sorrowful event underscored the impact of human interference on nature, leading the elephant community to migrate in search of a new, undisturbed home where they could thrive. This story resonates as a reminder of our interconnectedness and the importance of empathy and compassion towards all creatures.

Gojah.
