作者簡介
葉劉淑儀（Regina Ip）
1972 年畢業於香港大學英文系，獲一級榮譽學士學位。她求知若渴，分別在不同的人生階段修讀了三個碩士學位課程：格拉斯哥大學文學碩士（主修文藝復興時期詩歌）、史丹福大學史隆管理課程碩士和史丹福大學東亞研究文學碩士。她在1975 年加入香港政府，其後晉升至保安局局長，於2003 年離職。她從美國進修回港後，在2006 年7 月成立「匯賢智庫」，2008 年9 月當選第四屆立法會直選議員，先後於2012 年、2016 年及2021年成功連任，並於2012 年獲委任為行政會議非官守成員至今，於2022 年獲委任行政會議召集人。2011 年1 月，葉劉淑儀創立「新民黨」，並擔任黨主席。2015 年9月，葉劉淑儀牽頭與21 世紀海上絲綢之路沿線省市及海外華僑在港代表團體合作成立了「海上絲綢之路協會」。2012 年及2017 年，葉劉淑儀先後兩次參加行政長官選舉。
