為切實提高航海類專業畢業生專業英語的實際應用能力及推進航海教育國際化戰略的實施,在南通航運職業技術學院領導的大力支持及廣大師生的積極配合下,“船舶管理”課程組實施了雙語教學改革,並開展了“船舶管理”英文版教材“Ship Management”的編寫工作。希望通過《船舶管理(英文版)》的學習,航海類輪機專業畢業生能儘早適應遠洋實船工作,滿足國際化職業的實際要求。
在編寫《船舶管理(英文版)》之前,《船舶管理(英文版)》主編已在南通航運職業技術學院輪機管理專業2014級、2015級進行了“船舶管理”雙語教學。編者根據教學的實際情況,查閱了大量的英文文獻,完成了《船舶管理(英文版)》的編寫工作。
